After a ship overrun her in the night and tore her mast from the hull, the catamaran Basia and her crew arrived safely at Port Louis, Grenada, to a tearful World ARC group.

There were 1,300 nautical miles of motoring and several fuel donations before the crew’s jubilant then somber arrival. Small inflatables with horns and sparkles met the four rally boats that finished today.

More reports on the challenges this group faced over the past weeks and what can be learned. For now, everyone is safe, albeit quite overwhelmed.
